2024 Josef Gingold Chamber mUsic Festival

From July 11-18 the Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival, in collaboration with the Elevar Foundation, presents six concerts in the Boca Raton and Delray Beach area. The concerts feature programming that will excite audiences with familiar pieces and adventurous new works. Two of the Festival highlights of this year’s offerings are a “Schubertiade” at Lynn University on July 13 featuring the composer’s monumental Quintet for Two Cellos, and an all-Spanish program at the Boca Raton Museum of Art on July 18 as the
Festival’s finale. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our concerts!

  • Every faculty member that coached my group/taught my lessons completely aligned with the “Gingold mentality” that Professor Cardenes was talking about! The artists not only have a wealth of experience, but are all motivated by the same underlying principle: to serve the students and the community through their genuine love of music making.

  • I appreciated the multiple opinions on my pieces, and the seminars helped clear up lots of questions I had about the music world. I also liked how I was able to watch many famous musicians, many of whom I had never known of before, teach or give seminars. It was very inspiring. – Student participant

Extremely high quality of faculty, a sensible schedule and plenty of opportunities to perform for both faculty and guest performers/teachers. – Student participant

  • I received so much support and inspiration, not only from the teachers but colleagues as well. Simply an amazing experience! Thank you so much!! – Student participant

Getting to work with incredible faculty and getting to meet so many amazing artists. This festival was an amazing experience and the highlight of my summer. - Student Participant

For my father, Josef Gingold, chamber music was the highest form of musical expression. We are delighted that this superb chamber music festival has taken his name in remembrance. We wish performers, students and audiences alike years of gratification through the festival.
