Chamber Music Institute
Two private lessons per week with world-renowned faculty
Bi-weekly studio classes
Intensive chamber music coachings with faculty artists
Seminars on interpretation and performance skills
Collaborative pianists will have the opportunity for in-depth chamber ensemble
Coaching with performance opportunities.
Composition Institute
Private lessons with each composition faculty member
Master classes and forums specific to composition participants
Coaching by faculty artists of new works for chamber ensemble
Video/audio recording of participating composers work by festival performers
Both Institutes
Public concert performance opportunities including weekly student recitals and Friday evening faculty recitals
Saturday evening Gingold Virtuosi concerts with Gingold Festival faculty and select students
Diverse non-musical forums on career management, wellness, audition techniques
Group tour in Miami to explore nearby cultural institutions/sites and the natural beauty of South Florida (i.e. Perez Miami Art Museum, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Frost Science Museum, and the famed beaches of Miami Beach)
Scholarships will be available based on Auditions
Students Under 18
Students under the age of 18 will be required to submit a Parental Consent Form upon acceptance into the Festival. This form will be provided to you by the Festival administration.

Festival Schedule
The Festival provides an opportunity for a flexible schedule according to the needs the participant. Typically, private lessons are scheduled in the mornings, master classes, studio classes and chamber group coachings are planned in the afternoon, with several evenings a week set aside for Faculty Artist and student recitals both on-campus and in the community. A sample schedule is provided below:

About the Barry University Campus
Housing is offered by Barry University, located on the Miami Shores main campus. The Barry University campus offers a wide range of recreational and meeting facilities, comfortable accommodations, and a location convenient to all Miami and Ft. Lauderdale attractions.

Rooms are fully furnished with a shared or community bathroom for double rooms. Single rooms have a private bathroom. Rooms do not have kitchens, refrigerators or microwaves. Microwaves will be placed in the common areas for Festival participants to use. All dorms are air-conditioned and include amenities such as wi-fi, free laundry, free parking, an outdoor swimming pool. Access to the state-of-the art fitness center is included in the housing fee.
In addition to multiple practice rooms available, participants are able to practice in their apartments during designated hours.
All participants In the Festival dorm housing must provide a $100 security deposit at the time of check-in. The security deposit can be paid in cash, or with a check made out to: The Josef Gingold CMF. Security deposits will be returned upon check-out.
STUDENTS UNDER 18
The Festival maintains a strict curfew policy. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to leave the Barry University Campus unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. All underage students of the Festival are expected to comply with these regulations. The Festival requests that parents who are living with their children be aware of and observe these regulations.
SECURITY:
There is a posted security guard at the entrance to Dorm Facilities 24/7.
DINING
Barry's Roussell Dining Hall, an all-you-careto-eat dining facility, is the primary location for students to use meal plans featuring a varied menu including Grab-and-Go options. In addition, participants may also choose to purchase food at various dining options across campus.
